I LOVE my Daddy

So Chrissie took these pictures when we were home for christmas, but I totally forgot about them until I just looked at the holiday pictures again. I could die laughing. He really fell asleep like this.

Oh I love my daddy. :)

Seasons are Changing, And Waves are Crashing, and Stars are Falling all for us

So....There is still a descent amount of stuff to still accomplish before everything is officially set. But chances are it looks really good that Chris is going to be in the Air Force Reserves. Mixed emotions, Mixed feelings, but overall I honestly feel really great about it. Which doesn't happen naturally. There have been many prayers, both personally & together, that I feel have helped us along this journey. Just so you know he is still in the early part of everything. We met with the recruiter this Wednesday to ask a LONG list of questions I had been compiling, and today (Friday) he took his exam (which basically determines how intellectual you are in certain important areas for the Air Force)...which determines IF they plan on actually continuing your process, and also to see which job you will be "speciality trained" in. Well, I am VERY proud of my husband, because he got a score of 86 percentile. And even though, I am not quite sure if we were looking at the correct list of what he can do based upon his scores, one website seemed to show scores vs jobs...and every single one he could do. Which is awesome. He called the recruiter, and he said awesome, then we have no problem. We just have to make sure he passes his physical...once that is over...I can be a little more relaxed as I guess they really are trying to make you not pass, but Chris is in great health...so that should be fine too.

So what does this mean??? Well...some questions we are still figuring out, and deciding upon...but a HUGE excitement to me (if you can subtract the fact that Chris and I wont really see each other for four months...wow I can't even fathom that.) Is that I will be in California with my family and friends round' about. Which is very awesome. I have already written some lists....because that is what I do. :) Not because I am stressed, but because I like to figure these things out, and plan, and be excited, and organized, and map out things. Seriously...I have always been a big list person. So yes. That is exciting...and it provides us with some more adventure...which is also great. :)

So yes. That is our BIG news for now.

The MECCA

It's the place to be, and "The Place" to go to for the Dominguez's it's pretty dang awesome. It's a hole in the wall, but that adds to the charm. So we all went after the boys helped Alicia offically move back to the East Bay

I LOVE these pictures

Ethan always watches Chris when he is getting ready for the day, and getting something accomplished. But it was so cool to see Ethan Admire and LOVE to watch his Papa Pinney. My dad is a genius when it comes to bikes and was working with a kid early in the morning, and so I went out to watch/talk with my dad...so I put Ethan on the hood of my mom's car, and Ethan just loved watching and making small talk with my dad. So cute. I love the looks of love on his many faces. :)

A Chris-Charla Ann-Ethan Christmas

Since we knew that we were going out to California for Christmas, we opened up our presents together before Ethan and I left (the day before Christmas Eve). :)
Ethan- Two bigger toys..Walk N Ride & Busy Ball Popper, and four cardboard Dr. Suess Books.
Chris - Transformers 2 & Night at the Museum 2
Charla Ann - Flirty Apron & Awesome Adidas workout pants, and later Chris got me a smaller vintage-modern Oakland Temple picture.
:)

A Pinney Christmas

It was wonderful to be able to wake up with everyone there, and open up presents...it's been at least three years since that has happend...and not with Ethan, this last Christmas being his first. It was a lot of fun, and I just can't explain fully through words the emotion and joy it was to have that.

Cousins

One of the joys of going home for christmas this year, was to see Ethan playing with his cousin Noah. I never really had cousins growing up..and so it is so wonderful to know our little Ethan has that. And Noah is only a few days older...like 9...or something like that. How we miss them being in Utah.

Here are the cute cousins... :)
